The BAF Subject Enhancement Programme in Mathematics (SEP-M) is an education intervention programme that is designed to provide a sustainable solution to the problems of unqualified Math teachers, poor performance among primary school pupils in Mathematics and resource gaps that exist in typical Math classrooms in public and low-cost primary schools.

 Through SEP-M, Mathematics Teachers in this project shall be equipped with new skills to lead and deliver effective Math lessons. Passing through this programme will significantly impact on the quality of Math lesson delivery, eliminate misconceptions that Math is difficult among pupils and consequently improve the pupils’ interest and performance in Mathematics from the primary school.  For year 2024 editition, the foundation will train 300 Mathematics teachers from low to medium-cost primary schools in across Nigeria
