Professor Oluwole Ayoola Atoyebi is a distinguished surgeon and medical educator with over four decades of experience. He earned his MB, BS degree with Honours in 1977 from the University of Lagos and holds several prestigious Fellowships, including those from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCS), the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), and the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
As a Consultant Surgeon at Lagos University Teaching Hospital and a Professor of Surgery at the University of Lagos, Professor Atoyebi has made significant contributions to medical education and research, with over 1,600 citations of his scholarly work. He introduced the innovative SPICCES curriculum through the Medical Education Development Unit (MEDU) and served as Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (2009–2012).
A former National President of the Nigerian Medical Association (2004–2006), Professor Atoyebi has held leadership roles on numerous boards, including the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. He is currently the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Academy of Medicine and was recently appointed to the Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Specializing in General Surgery with a focus on Breast Surgery, Professor Atoyebi has trained many surgeons who now hold senior positions worldwide. He is married to Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Atoyebi, with whom he has four children and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo, Principal Consultant and CEO of Leading Learning Ltd, founded her education consulting firm in 2014. With nearly 40 years of experience, she specializes in teacher training, leadership development, and school transformation, serving schools, NGOs, and government bodies.
As the Hon. Commissioner for Education in Lagos State (2019–2023), she led initiatives to improve education under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration. Previously, she was Executive Director/CEO of Corona Schools’ Trust Council (2002–2010) and Director of Corona Secondary School, Agbara (2010–2014).
A passionate education activist, Mrs. Adefisayo collaborates with organizations like Teach for Nigeria, Oando Foundation, and Junior Achievement to address Nigeria’s learning crisis. She holds distinctions in postgraduate education studies from the University of Nottingham and has received a Federal Republic of Nigeria Merit Award for her contributions to education.
Ajibola is an accomplished and result orientated Consultant, Accountant, Facilitator, Entrepreneur, Executive Coach and Speaker. She has unique skills set and breadth of experience that straddles various professions and industriesincluding finance, human resource management, governance (private and public sector), event management and consultancy. Ajibola is a transformational and result-oriented leader with demonstrated competence (knowledge, skills and experience), start-ups (SMEs), volunteer/member-led organisations and also multinationals. With remarkable cultural and political sensitivity and awareness, she has worked extensively with and in both Private and Public Sector. She excels in periods of change and uncertainty, possessing the ability to work effectively through others, bridging generational gaps to achieve extraordinary results.
Mrs. Oluwayemisi Adedayo is the Director of Strategy at the Bunmi Adedayo Foundation (BAF), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of education in Nigerian public primary schools. Known for her grace, resilience, and strategic leadership, she advocates for integrating modern teaching methods to ensure progress and technological compliance in education.
As the wife of the late Bunmi Adedayo, she honors his legacy by nurturing and equipping Nigerian children to become well-rounded citizens. Her unwavering commitment drives BAF’s mission to bridge the educational gap between private and public schools in Nigeria.
Olumayowa Ogunnusi is the CEO of Caracal Group, an offshore oilfield solutions company he founded in 2013. Under his leadership, Caracal has become a leading provider of offshore support vessels and services in West Africa, known for operational excellence and innovation. His strategic vision has driven the company’s growth, maintaining nearly 100% fleet utilization annually and expanding services across Africa and globally.
Mayowa is committed to corporate social responsibility and has participated in initiatives such as the Bunmi Adedayo Foundation’s Education Intervention Programme. With his dedication to value creation, safety, and operational excellence, Mayowa Ogunnusi continues to be a strategic leader in the oil and gas industry.
Dr. Gbolahan Folayan has a solid academic background, holding postgraduate qualifications and continuously enhancing his expertise through prestigious development programs, including those at the University of Michigan, Harvard Business School, and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
He is currently involved with several successful corporations, financial organizations, and educational institutions, including Ajayi Crowther University, where he’s been a Board of Trustees member since its inception. He has served as Managing Director or Executive Director of multiple commercial banks and chaired various government corporations.
A lifelong servant in the Anglican Church, he holds roles such as Diocesan Treasurer of the Anglican Diocese of Lagos, Sunday School Teacher, and Chairman of the Boys Brigade Council, among others. He has received several awards, including the Episcopal Award of Excellence and the Primate’s Award for Christian Stewardship from the Most Revd. Nicholas Okoh.
Dr. Folayan has also earned recognition in Nigeria’s banking sector, including a letter of recommendation from the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor for outstanding service.
He is married with children and grandchildren and holds several degrees and honors, including A.A., B.Sc, MBA, F.IOD, FCIB, and OON.
Dr. Yinka Adepoju is a dynamic leader and innovator with multiple doctorate degrees from the University of Maryland and Marymount University, and a career defined by transformative achievements in healthcare, private equity, and social impact.
As the Founder, former CEO, and Chairman of Baltimore Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Dr. Yinka Adepoju led the growth of its operations across seven states, establishing the organization as a leader in orthopedic and physical medicine services. His vision and leadership propelled the company’s expansion while enhancing its ability to deliver patient-centered, cutting-edge care.
Currently, Dr. Yinka Adepoju serves as the CEO of Bravo Capital, a fund that has invested in more than forty pre seed to seed stages, driving the growth of companies shaping the future of rehabilitation medicine, behavioral health, information technology, and socially conscious ventures.
Dr. Adepoju’s extensive board service includes appointments with organizations such as the Phoenix Global Foundation, Salus Capital, and Marymount University Alumni Board. Yeside Asolo is a partner at Kayode Sofola & Associates and she is actively involved in the Firm’s dispute resolution and corporate/commercial practice. Yeside has gathered considerable experience in commercial law practice, particularly advising and representing banks and financial institutions, asset management firms, corporates as well as individuals on various aspects of litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
